Reporting

What you receive for every beneficiary

ESD only counts if you can show it. Each beneficiary file is put together as the programme runs, not at the end.

  • Baseline assessment at intake
  • Attendance register for every session
  • Milestone sign-off with evidence of work completed
  • Compliance status before and after: CIPC, SARS and B-BBEE affidavit
  • Final review feedback and a growth plan
  • Programme summary report for your board or verification file
A note on B-BBEE points. How your contribution is recognised depends on each beneficiary's eligibility and on your verification agency. We set beneficiaries up properly and are happy to work with your verification agency on the evidence they need.
FAQ

ESD questions

What is enterprise and supplier development (ESD)?

ESD is the element of the B-BBEE scorecard that recognises spending that helps small black-owned businesses grow, either as your suppliers (supplier development) or more broadly (enterprise development).

Will sponsoring a cohort earn B-BBEE points?

Recognition depends on the eligibility of each beneficiary and on how your verification agency assesses the contribution. We set up beneficiaries properly and give you a reporting pack per beneficiary, and we are happy to work with your verification agency on the evidence they need.

Can you work with our existing suppliers?

Yes. A supplier readiness programme takes your current small suppliers through compliance, financial systems and growth planning so they can handle bigger orders.

How many beneficiaries can you take?

Our recommended minimum cohort is 15 entrepreneurs. Programmes expand in blocks of five, to 20, 25 or 30.

Planning ESD spend for this financial year?

Tell us your budget, timeline and goals. We'll send a proposal with a programme outline, costs and the reporting you'll receive.
