Built from the problems we kept seeing

MZR was founded in 2026 by Ziyaad Sallie, a registered tax practitioner. Working with entrepreneurs, he kept seeing the same pattern: good people with good products whose businesses stalled because nobody had shown them the basics. Registrations were incomplete, SARS returns were overdue, prices didn't cover costs and there were no records a bank could read.

So MZR was built around a simple sequence: build the entrepreneur, build the business, build the engine, build revenue, then build growth. Every programme we run, from a one-hour workshop to a sponsored enterprise development cohort, follows those five milestones.
